The Marbella Area.
Marbella Weather - Statistics
Marbella is very fortunate in benefitting from the micro-climate created by the Sierra Nevada mountains to the north. This ensures that the local temperature is generally 2 to 3 degrees above that of the surrounding area.

The maximum speeds in Spain are 31mph (50kph) in built-up areas, 55mph (90kph) outside on second category roads, and 74mph (120kph) on Motorways. The limit for drink-driving is 0.05%, with severe penalties for infringement. Fines for most other offences are made on the spot.
Holders of older-style green UK licences should consider exchanging them for new-format ones to avoid local difficulties. Spectacle-wearers should bear in mind that they are required to carry a spare pair in the car at all times - and Spain is one of the few countries where two warning triangles must be carried in the car.
